Noir at the Bar

Freight & Salvage
- 2022
- International
- Mystery, Crime & Thrillers
An in-person festival staple returns at long last! Time to savor the eerie ambience of foggy alleys, enigmatic clues, and hard-boiled detecting—and the drinks they pair with beautifully. Nordic noir superstars Thomas Enger (Unhinged), Carin Gerhardsen (Black Ice), and Camilla Sten (The Resting Place) bring us the satisfying chill of frost-edged suspense; while bestselling authors Cara Black (Murder at the Porte de Versailles) and Tod Goldberg (The Low Desert) show us the sublimely creepy side of Paris and Coachella Valley, respectively. Take the edge off and gather round for some old-fashioned spellbinding storytelling.
The bookstore partner for this session is Green Apple Books! Buy the books online at Bookshop.org or purchase them in person at the Festival. More information here.
Please Note: Due to venue policy and COVID safety, all drinks at the Freight must be consumed in the lobby, and are not allowed in the theater.
Book signing information: Green Apple Books in Freight & Salvage lobby immediately after event
