Jon Agee

Have you heard of TACO CAT or UFO TOFU? Have you eaten an EVIL OLIVE or STRESSED DESSERTS? You might think you have ailihphilia (that’s a love of palindromes) but only Jon Agee, a true prodigy of palindromes, would have the audacity to write a whole story—a graphic novel no less—constructed entirely of these mirror-image words and phrases. Enter the wild back-and-forth world of Agee’s Otto: A Palindrama and maybe even engage in a little wordplay of your own! Come to this fun session, hosted by Common Sense Media deputy books editor Regan McMahon, and you’ll be sure to exclaim “WOW!” and “YAY!” Ages 9–12.

The bookstore partner for this session is Flashlight Books! Buy the books online at Bookshop.org or purchase them in person at the Festival. More information here.
