Ann Richardson

Ann is an award-winning narrator, working from her home studio in the East Bay since 2008, and has over 400 titles to her credit. She has narrated for Audible, Brilliance, Blackstone, Hachette, Harper, Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Tantor and many more. Ann has guided many authors through the process of putting their work into audio via platforms such as ACX and Spoken Realms. She teaches Intro to Audiobooks for VoiceOne in San Francisco, and also has a separate launching program for new narrators (available on her website). In her spare time, she can be found wine-tasting, going for a long run, or cleaning up drool from her mastiff puppy, Dolce.

Dan Alter

Dan Alter’s poems, reviews and translations have been published in journals including Field, Fourteen Hills, and Zyzzyva; his first collection My Little Book of Exiles won the 2022 Cowan Poetry Prize. A volume of translations Take a Breath, You’re Getting Excited, from the Hebrew of Yakir Ben-Moshe, was published by Ben Yehuda Press in September 2024, and Hills Full of Holes, a second collection of poems, by Fernwood Press in March 2025. He lives with his wife and daughter in Berkeley. He works at the Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life at UC Berkeley.
