Bernice Yeung

Bernice Yeung covers race and gender for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting. She is the author of “In a Day’s Work: The Fight to End Sexual Violence Against America’s Most Vulnerable Workers.” Yeung has been part of the Rape in the Fields and Rape on the Night Shift reporting teams, which investigated sexual assault among immigrant workers in agriculture and janitorial work. In addition to prompting new California state legislation and community-led reform efforts, these projects have been honored with (among others) an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award, a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, an Investigative Reporters & Editors Award.
