Camille Acker holds a B.A. in English from Howard University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from New Mexico State University. Her writing has appeared in Hazlitt and VICE, among other outlets. Raised in D.C., she currently lives in Philadelphia. Her new book, “Training School for Negro Girls,” came out last year.
