Carol Edgarian

Carol Edgarian is the author of the New York Times best-selling novel “Three Stages of Amazement” and the international bestseller “Rise the Euphrates,” winner of the ANC Freedom Prize. A 20th anniversary revised edition of “Rise the Euphrates” was recently released to mark the centennial of the Armenian genocide. Her articles and essays have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, NPR, and W, among many others, and she is editor of the popular collection drawn from great writers’ diaries, “The Writer’s life: Intimate Thoughts on Work, Love, Inspiration, and Fame.” She is co-founder and editor of Narrative, a leading digital publisher of fiction, poetry, interviews, and art. She lives with her family in San Francisco.
