
Chelsea Bieker
Chelsea Bieker’s debut novel, “Godshot,” was lauded by Kira T. Madden as “an absolute masterpiece” and described by O, The Oprah Magazine as “Maria Semple’s ‘Where’d You Go Bernadette’ meets Emma Cline’s ‘The Girls.'” She is from California’s Central Valley, and is recipient of a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award. Her fiction and essays have been published in Granta, McSweeney’s, Catapult magazine, Electric Literature, and Joyland, among others. She has been awarded a MacDowell Colony Fellowship, and holds an MFA in creative writing from Portland State University.
