D.A. Powell
D.A. Powell’s collections include Tricks (CutBank Books, 2025), Low Hanging Fruit (Foundlings Press, 2022), and Useless Landscape or A Guide for Boys (Graywolf, 2012). His honors include the 2019 John Updike Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the California Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Shelley Memorial Prize from the Poetry Society of America. He teaches at University of San Francisco.
