Dave Madden

Dave Madden is the author of two books, and his essays have appeared in Defector, the Guardian, Zyzzyva, Harper’s, Lithub, and elsewhere. His current book project, a memoir on sex and shame, has earned fellowships from MacDowell and the Vermont Studio Center. He teaches nonfiction in the MFA program at the University of San Francisco, and publishes a fortnightly newsletter named Shenny.
