Isabel Duffy

Born and raised in London, England, Isabel Duffy moved to the Bay Area in 2001 as editor-at-large for Random House UK. She has interviewed guests from Anthony Bourdain to Zadie Smith live on stage for City Arts and Lectures, and now provides the voiceover for the City Arts and Lectures broadcasts on NPR stations across the U.S. She has written for The Believer and and is on the board of McSweeneys. She has trained as a psychotherapist and lives in San Francisco with her family and a one-eyed cat.
