Janis Cooke Newman

Janis Cooke Newman is the author of the SF Chronicle Best Books of 2015, A Master Plan for Rescue, as well as the LA Times Book Prize Finalist and USA Today Historical Novel of the Year, Mary: Mrs. A. Lincoln. She is also the author of the memoir, The Russian Word for Snow, and is the founder of the Lit Camp writers conference held at Esalen every May.
