Lauren DeLaunay Miller
Lauren DeLaunay Miller has dedicated her life to exploring the mountains of the world and telling stories of underrepresented people. She has worked for Yosemite Search and Rescue, served as vice president of the Bishop Area Climbers Coalition, and as event coordinator for the American Alpine Club’s Bishop Craggin’ Classic festival. Her creative work has been featured in the Climbing Zine, and she is regional editor for the American Alpine Journal, Accidents in North American Climbing, and the Cutting Edge podcast. She lives in Bishop, California, with her husband and rescue pup. Her new book is Valley of Giants: Stories from Women at the Heart of Yosemite Climbing.
