Maisie Wiltshire-Gordon

Maisie Wiltshire-Gordon is a 2022-2023 Emerging Critics Fellow with the National Book Critics Circle. She is also a fourth-year PhD candidate in Rhetoric at UC Berkeley, studying the relationship between ethics and literary form in twentieth-century novels. In her public-facing writing, she looks for the ways her theoretical work touches ground, connecting philosophical ideas to ordinary experience. Her essays and reviews appear in The Iowa Review, Current Affairs, Kirkus, and elsewhere.
