Meredith Maran
Meredith Maran is a widely published book critic and the author of more than a dozen books, including “What It’s Like To Live Now,” “My Lie,” and several other controversial memoirs. Her most recent book is an edited anthology titled “Why We Write About Ourselves: Twenty Memoirists on Why They Expose Themselves (and Others) in the Name of Literature.” The recipient of MacDowell and Yaddo fellowships, Maran lives in Los Angeles, where she’s at work on her next memoir.
