Michael David Lukas

Michael David Lukas is the author of ‘The Oracle of Stamboul,’ which was a finalist for the California Book Award and the NCIBA Book of the Year Award, and has been translated into over a dozen languages. His writing has been published in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the San Francisco Chronicle. A former Fulbright Scholar in Turkey and Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Tunisia, he has taught creative writing at San Francisco State University, University of San Francisco, and 826 Valencia. His second novel, about the Jews of Cairo, is forthcoming from Random House in Spring 2018.
