Michael Levitin

Michael Levitin grew up in Sonoma County and studied history at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He earned his Master’s degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and got his start as a reporter covering the Bolivian Water War in 2000. He later worked as a foreign correspondent in Barcelona and Berlin and has published in The Atlantic, The Guardian, Los Angeles Times, TIME, and Newsweek. He was co-founding editor of the Occupied Wall Street Journal and founding editor of the Prague Literary Review. “Disposable Man” is his first novel.
