Richard Melville Hall is an American musician (known by his stage name “Moby”) who has sold more than 20 million records. He is a pioneer of the dance music genre, widely regarded as responsible for bringing it into the global mainstream. Moby has written or co-authored the books “Gristle,” “Destroyed,” his first memoir “Porcelain,” and his new second memoir, “Then It Fell Apart” (April 2019).
