Philip McLaren
Philip McLaren is an Aboriginal Australian and a multi-prize-winning author of historical fiction, contemporary fiction and nonfiction, social commentary, screenplays, and academic essays. He’s written seven novels, four of which have been translated and distributed internationally. He has also worked in television production for the American networks NBC, CBS, and ABC; CBC and CTV in Canada; the Seven, Nine, and Ten Networks in Australia;, and NZBC in New Zealand, as well as numerous film production companies. He holds a Doctor of Creative Arts degree and has lectured in Canada, England, France, Spain, Germany, New Zealand, and Australia.
