Sabine Kieselbach is literary correspondent of Germany’s international broadcaster DW (Deutsche Welle). She studied Comparative Literature, Art History, and Political Science in Bonn and Berlin, spent some time in New York, and worked for many years as a cultural and literary critic for print media, radio, and television. In 1994, she joined Deutsche Welle and began working for the culture department of the TV division in 2003. Since 2016 she’s been DW’s Literary Correspondent, and in this position, she is responsible for the multimedia project “100 German Must-Reads” (together with her colleague David Levitz). In 100 Videos she presents German novels of the 20th and 21st century that are translated into English and discusses the list and the books at Book Fairs and Festivals around the world.
