Sandip Roy

Sandip Roy is a writer and journalist currently based in Kolkata. His first novel, “Don’t Let Him Know,” has been listed for various awards and is an honor title for the 2015 Asian/Pacific American Awards for Literature. Roy’s “Dispatch from Kolkata” is heard every week on KALW 91.7 FM. He is a commentator for Morning Edition and has appeared in various outlets including The New York Times, BBC, the Guardian, The Independent, Salon.com, the Times of India, The Economic Times, and Reader’s Digest. He has been a senior editor with Firstpost.com in India and an associate editor with New America Media in San Francisco.
