Scott James is best known for his stories in The New York Times. A veteran journalist, Scott has three Emmy Awards for his work in television news. He writes fiction under the pen name Kemble Scott and is the author of two San Francisco Chronicle bestselling novels, ‘The Sower’ and ‘SoMa’, which was a finalist for the national Lambda literary prize. Scott is also the co-founder of The Castro Writers’ Cooperative, a co-working space for writers in San Francisco.
