Stefan Thunberg
Stefan Thunberg, one of Scandinavia’s most celebrated screenwriters, recently published a new novel, “The Father: Made in Sweden” (co-written with crime novelist Anders Roslund). The book fictionalizes Thunberg’s experience growing up in a family of bank robbers, dubbed Militärligan (The Military Gang) by the media. DreamWorks recently optioned the film rights to the book. Thunberg’s screenwriting credits include the popular TV-series “Wallander,” and “Van Veeteren,” as well as two of Sweden’s biggest box office successes in recent years: “Hamilton” and “JAGARNA 2.”
