Zahra Noorbaksh

Zahra Noorbakhsh, an Iranian American comedian, is a feminist and satirist. She is a contributor to the New York Times-featured anthology, “Love Inshallah: The Secret Love Lives of American Muslim Women.” The New Yorker dubbed her one-woman show “All Atheists Are Muslim” a highlight of the International New York City Fringe Theater Festival. Her newest solo-show, “Hijab and Hammerpants,” is set to debut this year at Stage Werx Theater in San Francisco. Zahra is also a member of the SF Writer’s Grotto, where she teaches courses in storytelling and comedy.
