Elaine Tai

Elaine Tai is a Supervising Librarian in Children’s Services at the Berkeley Public Library. Her work focuses on the intersections of social justice in librarianship and interrogates bias rooted throughout the profession in areas such as wayfinding and usability. Tai was a founding judge for the Global Literature in Libraries Initiative Translated YA Award. In her spare time, she is a wannabe patron of the arts and a [very] amateur artist.
