Roxanne Chester is a graduate of Berkeley Law School with a career background in advocacy. She has spent many years working for organizations that support the unhoused. These experiences, and having a child of her own, led her to write her debut picture book THIS IS MY BAG: A Story of the Unhoused. Isabel Quintero

Isabel Quintero is an award-winning writer and the daughter of Mexican immigrants. Gabi, A Girl in Pieces, her first YA novel, was the recipient of multiple awards, including the Tomás Rivera Award, the California Book Award Gold Medal, and the Morris Award for Debut YA Novel. She is also the author of chapter books and a non-fiction YA graphic biography, Photographic: The Life of Graciela Iturbide, which was awarded the Boston Globe Horn Book Award. Marissa Moss

Marissa Moss has written and illustrated over seventy books. Many of them are from her best-selling series, Amelia’s Notebook. Along with the Amelia books, Moss has written successful historical journals that are currently used in elementary and middle school curricula, and picture books biographies such as The Eye That Never Sleeps: How Detective Pinkerton Saved President Lincoln and Barbed Wire Baseball, which won the California Book Award and California Young Reader Medal. Her recent young adult book is a graphic memoir, Last Things.

Tim McCanna is the author and illustrator of the Peach and Plum early graphic novel series. Paige Mason

Paige Mason is a Central Valley-based freelance illustrator, living back in her hometown of Fresno with her family. She continues to make art and is the Visual art teacher for Aspen Meadow Public School. After living in San Jose, CA for about six years, Paige has been fortunate to participate within the San Jose art community through Local Color SJ, Nirvana Soul Cafe, and SJMade. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art, with an Illustration emphasis, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Summer 2015, and is currently on track to obtain her Single Subject credential in Visual Art with a Master of Arts in Education.

Bri Reads

Bri is an international preschool teacher turned content creator for kids. She begin her career teaching in Vietnam, and later Tokyo, where she performed in touring English language musicals for families throughout Japan. In 2018, she began her YouTube channel, Bri Reads, to inspire a love of reading through theatrical storytelling, songs, and crafts. Her videos have reached over 200 million views worldwide.
